This stove is far newer than it first appears, it was designed to resemble 1890's cook stoves. This one was part of Sears Kenmore's "Country Kitchen" line from the late 1960's to early 70's. This model was available in both Gas and Electric version, some also came with an optional old fashioned warming oven above the cooking surface. Some parts for this range are still available from Sears.
Retro stoves from all era's run through periods of revival, with appliances from the 1940's and 50's being popular with collectors and Retro Decorators. Some fully restored 1950's gas ranges in custom colors can retail for over $4500.00, but this Victorian style example in good shape can often be found for $500.00 or less.
